So if you’ve been listening to the podcast for a while you’ll know that I have become a VR enthusiast over the last year or so, especially since I bought my first VR headset. During the very strict lockdown here in Barcelona, my headset was especially helpful in immersing me in different environments. However, since the world has been moving towards a more remote and digitally focused way of working due to covid, many including myself have been wondering where does VR fit in?

My guest this week is Niall Campion, founder and creator of VRAI a virtual reality content creation business based out of Ireland. Niall comes from a film, tv and interactive design background, and as we’ll hear more about in the episode leads, VRAI in building simulation training for high hazard environments. 

In my conversation with Niall, we also dove into a number of different aspects pertaining to VR beyond the future of work such as how immersive the technology is, the level of empathy it can generate between users, the impact of covid on the VR industry, and others.
