About The Episode

Today we will be talking about bioprinting functional organs. When I first heard about this technology some 7 years ago through a ted talk it was pretty shocking that we had the capabilities to actually print an organ that could be used to transplant into a patient and have it work. Now the technology has improved considerably since then as you’ll hear about in the conversation today, where an actual human heart can be printed today.

Steven Morris. Founder and CEO of BIOLIFE4D comes onto the podcast to talk about his company, how they are printing hearts for future organ transplants, what the social impacts of this are, and the future vision is with regards to this technology.
